Cookie and tracker policy

Our approach

• No non-essential tracker is activated before you make your choice.
• No advertising or social media trackers, and no third-party analytics tools: audience measurement is carried out within our own platform.
• The “Accept all”, “Reject all” and “Customise” buttons on the consent banner are equally visible; rejecting is as easy as accepting.
• The banner does not stop you from browsing the store.

Tracker categories

Under “Customise”, each category is shown separately with a description and a switch that is off by default, except for essential trackers.

• Essential (always on): sign-in session, cart, form protection against tampering, your language, currency and theme preferences, and your consent choice. Without them, the store cannot work.
• Individual audience measurement: helps us understand your journey so we can improve the store. Without your consent, we only count overall statistics that cannot be linked to a person.
• Personalisation and recommendations: uses your browsing and purchase history to suggest relevant products.
• Marketing reminders: lets us, for example, remind you about an abandoned cart through the channel you have chosen.

In-house audience measurement

Usage events (page views, searches, add-to-cart actions, checkout steps) are recorded under a pseudonymous identifier, and your IP address is truncated. Raw events are kept for 13 months, then turned into anonymous statistics.

None of this data is shared with any third-party analytics tool.

Your browser’s local storage

To work quickly, even on a weak connection, the store keeps some information in your browser’s local storage, under keys starting with the eraaga: prefix. This information stays on your device:

• your language, currency and theme preferences;
• the cart of a visitor who is not signed in;
• your recent searches;
• a referral code received through a link, so that it can be applied when you sign up.

External resources

Fonts and libraries are served directly by the store. Only a few strictly limited external resources may be loaded: our payment provider Ligdicash’s page when you pay, and map tiles only when you ask to display a map.

How long your choice is kept

Your choice, with time-stamped proof, is kept for 13 months. After that, or if this policy changes, we ask you to choose again.

If you are signed in, your choice is linked to your account.

Managing your choices

You can change your choices at any time using the “Manage cookies” link in the footer of every page.

You can also clear cookies and local storage in your browser settings; your preferences and visitor cart will then be lost. When you sign out, the store clears the personal data kept on your device, except for the visitor cart.
